Another Lil story.... (this time, with apologies to her son).

There we are, sat in a very posh expensive restaurant waiting to be shown to our table. There are about 12 of us in our group and the restaurant is very full. It is my daughter's 21st birthday.
There's lots of laughter & joviality - and inevitably the conversation turns to Lil's well-known penchant for wetting herself when she laughs.... She turns round to her son, her first-born (big baby - 10lbs plus) and shouts, just as the volume in the restaurant lessens considerably "It's your fault I'm slack....."

Silence ensues. Until the laughter cuts in. Apart from the Son Who Is Blamed who just sits there going an increasing shade of scarlet...

Without a word of a lie rinks, all these stories are true. We do have 47 years of shared history and countless funny tales.
And she's not known as Slack Alice for nothing.
I don't know if you've ever seen my FB photos of Lil (Linda) - but you'd never guess it of her would you? All blonde hair, boobs and glamourpuss looks. But you can tell a lot from the photo of her sprawled drunkenly across the chaise longue looking like Lady Muck in the George at Stamford that there's the devil in her.... in a nice way!

You may mock... Honestly sqad - you would absolutely adore Lil. She does have the odd 'incident' yes, but all her other attributes make up for it. You would not turn her down, I tell you that for a fact.

I've seen the photos salla but I don't remember the chaise longue one, I'll have a look later! She certainly doesn't look the type at all!

And honestly honestly hand on heart - all these stories are true. I shall try to come up with some other reminiscences - but perhaps another day, cos I really must get some work done and I don't want people to get fed up of my verbal diarrhoea.....
