Every Little Helps - not at Tesco's it doesn't!

If your purchase is less that £1, you get no points on your card. So, if you pop in daily for a paper or a couple of bananas or a sweet for the kids, you wont get anything back. They should adjust their slogan to - Every sale over a pound helps. Not quite so catchy is it, but more truthful.

Surely the point of these loyalty cards is to make you spend at that chain. Therefore if they can make you top up to the extra pound then it all adds up. Pretty much all companies are there to make money and maximise profits. Therefore they are going to do what they can to make you spend that little bit more (every little helps).
