bra wire breaking

Is it because they're cheap or ill-fitting or both?

that the wire comes out of the bra. I think it's always been on the end, nearest the armpit and if it starts to come out in the middle of the day it can dig into my armpit/ side and be quite annoying.

Has anyone else got experience of this?

As you have never been measured then it could well be an ill fitting bra.

Is it an old bra?
plenty

It always happens during the day, never when they've jsut come from the washing machine.

Milly it happens to most of them at some point.

The three that I wear the most have all got stitching on them from where I've had to sew the holes up.
"they seem to come out in the washing machine a lot"

You're not meant to wash under-wired bras in a washing machine!

If you really do have to do it then put them in a pillow case, it can cost a lot of money to get a stray bra wire removed from a washing machine (£100+ easily)
How cheap are they?
i was in a meeting once and it came out the middle bit and was poking up and out the top of my shirt was in stiches trying to discretly shove it back
Then go to M&S, get measured and buy some decent bras.
chuck you worry me sometimes - do you want to come and wash my bra's for me

and it doesn;t just happen to cheap ones :-(
it could be one of three things, either you are wearing the wrong size, it could be your deodorant reacting with the fabric causing friction, or the same thing with your washing powder

Burn the bra!!!!!!
Fluffly, I used to be a washing machine engineer.

CHUCK youcompletely misquoted me I clearly said "never when they've jsut come from the washing machine."

umm between £5 and £8 each or worked out at that ie 2 for £12 . . .
Molly, I wasn't quoting you.

That is very cheap. You really should invest in some good bras. If you are not being properly supported you'll end up with droopy boobs..
Where are they from?
Question Author
ahh ok sorry chuck, cos i said that but with a bit in the middle about it only happening when I wear them . . . xx
