Are Nielsen-Bainbridge frames any good?

Nielsen-Bainbridge frames seem to be more expensive. Are they any good / worth the extra cost?

Picture frames I think, looks a bit like an advert.

Your local picture framer could probably do just as good a job more cheaply, with the added advantage that he could offer on the spot expertise in selecting a suitable framing material and mounting board to enhance the look of any particular artwork you want framing.

Nielsen-Bainbridge frames are the top brand in photo framing. I know that they are also used by top photo services like FotoInsight for their framed prints.

However, if I wanted to frame a picture or print I already have I would probably follow "heathfield's" advice.
