Fancy dress ideas

I'm going to my OH work do, it say on invite - "Mad Hatters Tea Party" - casual or fancy dress. Any ideas on what I can wear? I'm not one for dressing up, but would like to wear something apropriate.

Try getting a copy of Jane Asher's Fancy Dress book, there's a brilliant Teddy Bears Picnic you can make if you are good with your hands, the tablecloth goes over your head, you can make cakes from sponge, plastic knives and forks, paper plates, all stuck on. Brilliant ! Even rabbit's ears ..

Stick some hearts on a dress........go as the Queen of Hearts :-)

Paint a square box white, If it is fairly small affix it to your head. If huge make holes gor head, arms and legs. Voila! A sugar cube.
