eBay refund?

Hi

I gave a guy a refund on for £200 on eBay but the money hasn't left my bank account yet. There is a bill due out tomorrow and it's gona eat into this eBay money until I get paid on Monday.

What will happen. Is this how eBay works now, as it used to come out straight away. Thanks

Bills don't normally leave accounts on a weekend. Is it a direct debit/standing order or a payment you have set up?

It's just a normal refund through paypal so I'm not sure.

usually with paypal if you havent got the money in your account there is a secondary means of payment like a credit card that they take it from.

I'm not clear what the issue is- whether the money had been taken out straight away or a few days later you'd have still been short of funds at some stage- although you may be lucky and find the ebay money doesn't go out now until after you've been paid.
Did you pay by paypal- has the payment shown up on your paypal account?

The payment was refunded through Paypal and it's showing on my account yes. It just hasn't yet left the actual bank account

I meant the bill that is leaving tomorrow not the paypal money x
