Faulty Bag

I brought a bag last thursday and the magnetic catch has broken over the weekend, i dont have the reciept or the original carrier bag am i within my rights to take it back, bearing in mind im going to have to take it back with all my stuff in if i take it back today?

can you not empty your bag for the time being?  I would try taking it back, what have you got to loose?  You haven't got a receipt but they could do a straight swop with another bag.. its worth a go!

well i could but it would mean leaving all my stuff on my desk at work while im out to lunch!

I agree with butter1 entirely its always worth a try and it'll niggle at you if you do nothing.

I actually posted a reply earlier, but when I pressed the submit button it showed 'page cannot be displayed' & it disappeared - never mind.

Anyway - how did you get on at the shop - did they change it for you Gem?

yeah they exchanged it for another bag the same but they werent very happy about it!

Smudge - strange that, I have had at least 3 replies which couldn't get through I got the same error report.
