Someone has thrown something at the flat screen tv and now the picture is all fizzy and there is what looks like an impact point (with little cracks around it( on the picture but the actual front of the screen is still flat (no actual cracks or holes). Is it a goner? Or can it be fixed (by the happy pixies maybe)? Thanks

To be fair, the three year old twins 'claimed' that it was a big spider that did it and I have just found the most humongously huge spider (it was ginormous) so I can imagine that it was on the telly and one of them tried to bash it with a juice beaker (which ties in with their version of events).
I'd have got the wooden spoon for that! : )
unlikely it will be economical to fix. can you claim off contents insurance? Thats what we had to do when our youngest did same to our TV
