I don't think it's places like Debenhams cos they don't concentrate so heavily on designer wear. Any ideas?

Beatties in the Midlands ?
Possibly Binns in n Yorks?
John Lewis?
selfridges, harvey nichols are more expensive designer ware department stores. and of course, harrods!

As an employee of House of Fraser, our main competitors are Debenhams, Fenwick and John Lewis.

In London, our Dickens and Jones store on Regent Street competes with Harvey Nichols, Harrods and Selfridges.

(and just for silly moo... Binns is part of House of Fraser)
