Bank opening days?

Hi, just a quickie....will banks be open on the 28th[Tuesday]....or will it be a Bank Holiday....not very good at working these things out!

The 28th is a Wednesday when they should be open but they won't be on Tuesday 27th - since the 25th falls on a Sunday, the 26th is taken as a substitute day for that bank holiday and so the 27th is then taken as a substitute bank holiday for Boxing Day.

they're always open online so that, together with the use of ATMs, you can do just about everything even though branches aren't open
