Practical bag
21 Answers
I currently have a bag like this http://www.google.co....UoAQ&biw=1024&bih=672
But the side zip is now broken. I am not big on browsing or shopping (as its not practical with thing 1 and thing 2 and it bores me to tears), any one know where I can get something similar or have an alternative idea? Thanks.

I used the smal backpack thing as it was practical for work (when I had a job) and with the children but I don't want a handbag (don't think I will ever be a handbag type of person). Just need a bag that i can get out of my way (don't want it to be dangling everywhere), for my purse (which is minus the pull bit on the zippy bit), some wipes and my keys (and any other crap that I am charged with looking after - could be a toy car, a doll, my little pony, etc). Thing 1 and thing 2 are still on walking reins, so a back pack thingie would probably be best.
Oh well.. I was looking at bags as well and found this lovely tote. It's quite big looking and has a shoulder strap. I may just order it for myself :)

Hi all - only take a bag when going to town, got car keys, wipes (for after ginger bread men), purse, phone, various toys that they have decided are essential (and I have decided it is easier for them to take than leave at home). At this time of year my pockets are full of gloves (in case of dodgy weather). Just not a handbag kind of person!
We have a very helpful friendly little shoe mender in our town who repaired a bag of mine when the zip went, it wasn't an expensive leather bag either, just very useful and I liked all the pockets. He went out of his way to match the very unusual mauve colour too! Ask in your local shoe repairers and see .........
I see that 'bags' are listed among the stalls on your local market, Sherrardk, but it's not clear whether that's both Wednesdays and Saturdays, or just one of those days:

Hello, sorry for joining in a little late. Not sure from reading the other posts if you found what you were looking for, but just wanted to let you know that the company I work for has a couple of leather rucksacks like the ones in your link:
In chocolate brown: http://www.piajewelle...eather-bag-prod10541/
In purple: http://www.piajewelle...leather-bag-prod8336/
The brown version is new as the purple one proved very popular - you can read customer comments on the Reviews tab for the purple version.
Hope this helps!
