What top to go with lovely skirt!??!

I have a Christening coming up on sunday and ive just bought this gorgeous knee length skirt from topshop, its with with a black print and black sequins sewn onto the bottom and it looks really nice with black stilletos. BUT i have no idea what top i should wear with it and im running out of time aarrgh! Any help would be much appreciated!thanks x x x

To me, it sounds like the skirt would be better for a night out. I was always under the inpression that Christenings are more suited to light colours.
Well ignore that other girl because there is always room for a bit of black! So i think you should wear a very simple white or black top as your skirt is already very fussy! but i do actually know the skirt your on about and it's v.nice! ok then enjoy your self! xxx
I think all black at a christening might be a bit much. I would suggest a white or cream top. One that is relatively simple as the skirt is so detailed.

hi hope im not too late , the skirt you have bought sounds lovely for a christening , being a black fan myself i have lots of black skirts but team them with lighter top , good colors for christening would be a torquoise ,aqua or floaty cerise, have just seen all these colors in marks and spencers per una range and wallis failing that or these colors dont suit you how about red?
