We use loose tea and a tea strainer, teapot and porcelain cups. Tea bags and mugs when the builders are in.

i have a teapot that sits on the kitchen window ledge as an ornament,dont do dried tea,but i enjoy tea better out of a china cup,it seems to taste nicer

No tea of any sort in the house. but *always* use saucers, even with mugs!

when i visit my mum for breakfast they have tea in a teapot (but with bags) mugs (but bone china) toast rack, jam or marmalade in little dishes and butter in the butter dish. she'll also have a proper pot of coffee waiting in case we fancy that instead

No, not generally, but I still have a teapot - I'm partial to speciality teas (like green gunpowder) from time to time as a treat, but generally it's bag in mug in our house.

I have a tea pot, somewhere, toast rack was fine when it was just toe 2 of us.
An Aunty likes her teapot, cup and saucer. Never a mug, never ever

not freshly squezzed but yes you're right there is a small (cut crystal) glass of oj at each setting

my mum makes me laugh but got to admit it is nice.

marmite stays in the jar though its only brought out when i visit :-)

my sister in law uses loose tea.... she uses 2 teapots...one for hot water and one for the tea and she makes it really really strong, she uses a tiny little strainer and i just sit there gawping at how quick she is pouring it out without the leaves (and theres tons of them) falling in the glass...

its awful if you get gabbing and forget to top up with the water... you know when somethings so errrrkkkkkkk that it makes you slam your arms to the side of your body and totally tense up while sticking your tongue out and shuddering???? on the other hand if you do remember its bloody lovely specially when she puts cinnamon and stuff in it.....

Of course you can buy 'proper' tea - Sainsbury's Kenya Blend for preference here - made in a proper Brown Betty teapot, plastic tea strainer from the poundshop.

But if you must use bags, then Aldi's Diplomat Gold Label is a belting brew - almost good enough to turn me from the true leafy path ...
