Buying a car on ebay

I was thinking of buying a car on ebay with a cheque or debit card. How can I get car insurance to drive the car from the seller to my house? Do I get a temp cover note?

Nooo! Dont use Paypal either!

Cash on Delivery for collection items, especially cars
Then you have the option to check the car over before you hand over your money

You don't want to take out the cover before you buy the car, in case you don't buy it.

PS couldn't the seller drive it to your house, on their insurance, then you pay them and take hold of the log book, then you can go on-line and insure it straight away.

It's easy to get insurance
You go look at the car, you like the car, you pay for the car. you call your insurance company whilst there
Takes, what, 15 mins? Simple
