It seems like everytime I buy something recently I get a chunk of money taken off the price for no apparant reason.

Started with a big mirror from Ikea that was supposed to be £60 (in the sale) and I got it for £20. Then I bought some jeans from Gap at the weekend that were meant to be £40 but they took 30% off just for giving them my e-mail address. And just now I called 02 about upgrading my contract which I have been paying up to £30 a month on. By the end of the call they'd taken it down to £13.50 with the same minutes, etc. I didn't even try. Hopefully the same will work for the next three things on my list - new TV, new bed and house!

What bargains have you managed to get your hands on recently?

If you have Sky, ring them up and say you want to cancel your contract.

Watch your subscription charge fall.
You seem to have hit a lucky streak then Evian - can you pass it on to me please , all my bills etc keep rising :)
Ah yes hoppy - must ring the axis of evil today and issue my annual "I'm off to freeview unless you bribe me" threats. M&S vouchers seem to be on offer as well as subs reductions if my sources are correct ...
I saved even more Sunny. After my half price six months, I actually did cancel.
I rang Sky recently, I had to ring on the premium number (no Saynoto0871 number), they cut me off twice, I had to hold on for ages for call to be answered, then when I eventually got through I had to be put on hold again "while he spoke to a supervisor" then I got cut off again. I got so mad I asked them to ring me back, they took my number but never did ring. I gave up, it cost me so much just to ring them and they were SO incompetent!
Did you say you wanted to cancel though, Ann?

They put you through to a different department then, the department for stopping people leaving.

I'm not currently being ripped off by Sky. Never could afford it.
Try the same thing with your internet provider.
