Thanks for your suggestion regarding the anniversary gift. He bought both a Ruby Wedding Rose bush and a Ruby Anniversary one. Bottle of Moet, punnet of strawberries and a ruby coloured orchid.

He got his dad a pair of socks!!!

He also bought me a white orchid :-)

Ah thanks ummmm - glad you made use of the tip. I know I think a lot of the rose bushes in our garden which have been bought for us to mark various celebrations in our life, they are a great reminder of the person who bought them and for what reason. Have a nice time with your parents in law and glad I was able to help. Ann x

PS the sun is shining here too - it makes the world seem a better place! Just been out in garden for two hours and pruned my roses, and cleared a flower border, will no doubt suffer tomorrow with my back and knees, but it was great to feel the sun on my face!
