I have very skinny feet, so when I wear sandals, I tend to slip out the front of them. Does anyone have any suggestions that might stop that. I have to wear some dressy sandals for my daughter's wedding soon and unless it's hot and my feet expand, I'm going to feel very uncomfortable.
Thanks anyone.
I have the same problem. Most of the time, I can only wear sandals if they are fairly flat because as my foot is pushed forwards, my toes come over the end. You could either go with a peep-toe sandal or one with a toe post. Heeled toe-post sandals can be a bit uncomfortable if your foot is pushed forwards onto the post but you might be OK if it`s just for one occasion.
I've already bought the sandals, so I don't really have much choice but to wear them. It makes me cross that the stores mostly only cater for people with wide feet and if we want narrow fitting shoes, we have to buy from a specialist manufacturer and pay the earth for them!
You can get rubber insoles that sit just a the ball of the feet, they may give your feet a bit of adhesion (sp) and stop them slipping through, I got mine in M&S for a fiver.
There's a shoe shop in Peebles who do shoes for really slim feet etc called James Inglis, they do mail order and also have a website www.jamesinglis.com so you could take a quick peek and see if there's anything you like
I also have skinny feet. For sandals, I buy the Party Feet Heel grips and kinda curl them at the front of the shoe where I want by feet to stop, like a barrier, then stick my toes behind them. They're self adhesive and you can trim them thinner if you need to.
as you have bought the sandals already...there is no other option than insoles.
Get a thick insole to pack your feet. try to find velvet cover insole that would make you feel comfortable.
