Does Healthspan Really Take 10 Days to Deliver?

Is this normal for them ? I ordered on Saturday the 5th-they say it was dispatched last Tuesday. Still no sign of it.
Why can other companies dispatch and deliver in 2,3 or 4 days?

As a first time customer, I am not too impressed.

I tihnk it gets despatched form jersey but could be wrong, my mum ordered some stuff from healthspan and after about 10 days she emailed HS to say the item hasnt arrived yet but can you confirm when it was sent, waited a few more days and no sgn of it so emailed back to say it hadnt turned up so another 1 was senta dn what do you know both turned up within a few days of each other.

Somehow that would not surprise me. Did she keep/get charged for both?
I have used Healthspan and it does take around a week to ten days to receive the goods.

They aren't as bad as Superdrug though, considering they are a national chain their delivery is quite slow.
I had a long wait for an order, let them know it had not turned up after about 10 days, they sent another, and they both turned up on the same day. Being the honest person I am, I sent them a cheque for the second delivery.
I have been a customer of Healthspan for years and normally get my goods in about a week. As DC_FC says they are dispatched from Jersey.In their defence there has been a Bank Holiday and they need to set you up as a new customer,which may contribute to the delay.Hope you get your goods soon and are impressed with the product.

As with many other online retailers Healthspan advises customers of an expected timeframe in which their goods will be delivered- they do ask customers to allow up to 10 days.

Our products are delivered via Royal Mail and under normal circumstances orders are handed over Royal Mail within 48 hours of the order being placed.

Asking you to wait 10 days ensures that we give your order every chance of reaching you- and most customers receive their order well within that time frame. After 10 days, if you have not received your order then our Customer Care team can arrange a replacement product or refund if you wish- you can call them for free on 0800 73 123 77

I did mention 'under normal circumstances' above. In April 2012, our warehouse moved and this move has resulted in some delays to orders placed in April. We have worked hard to resolve these issues and despatch times are now back to normal.

Postie attempted delivery yesterday while I was at work. I've rescheduled for tomorrow (Sat) morning, so I expect to have my purchase then.
Healthspan prices are good-and I've always heard good things about them in regards to quality,etc-so I will most likely order again.
