I have a large collection of Harrods teddy bears and we are downsizing soon and need to get rid of them, I do not want to use e-bay and anybody got any other suggestions.
If you're not interested in money would they be suitable for the children's unit at the local hospital? (assuming that they would be grateful for such gifts)
One of the thousands of charity shops would sell them....probably 50p each or bag 'em up at a quid a bag like my local dog charity shop does.
In my experience of collecting things from stamps to crested china you can never get back what you paid..to sell a large collection of things it has to be a dealer or auction house otherwise it can take years...and you don't need me to tell you what dealers pay....and auction houses want 15-20% commission....:-((
