I'm going on holiday this summer and would like an MP3 player - not an iPod, could anyone recomend me one that has a long battery life and can store loads of songs. Thanks

It's really slim, lightish (but metal), very cool looking (comes in a selection of colours) and I'd be lost without it!
Sony have also just announced the HD-5 which is out in a month or two. It's similar spec but even better. Well worth considering.
I would only reccomend ipods. After myself having three MP3's in the last 2 years, my boyfriend having 6, and my brother having one, each one has broke before a year of owning it. My boyfriend bought an ipod (20GB) and has had nothing but success, so i bought one for myself (6GB Mini) and have also had great luck with it. They are easy to use, easy to install software, look attractive and can hold plenty of songs. Many people have MP3's however i believe they have not been tested enough during manufacturer to the amount i have known to go wrong. Ipod's have a brilliant right up, and can be bought for the same price as a good MP3 now..(�139 for a mini ipod from the apple mac website) Hope this might help
