Crap Bra's from M&S

I normally get my undies from M&S but have noticed the past few bras I've bought have been crap. When I wash them the outer fabric seems to shrink a bit so the inner layer can't lay flat and ends up puckering around the edge of the cup meaning I can only wear them with baggy tops (which is pretty much only jumpers in winter). I don't wash much over 40 degrees and nothing else seems to shrink.

Has anyone else noticed this problem?

Cannot say I have noticed it, but I bet if you check the 'care label' it says Hand Wash only.

They're not fancy bras. Theres no way I'm hand washing them. (I'll look when I'm home).
40 degrees???? All my M and S bras say 30 degrees or below.
I don't hand wash mine either, but a friend of mine had one disintegrate and took it back...and was shown the label....

Tbh, I've never looked at the label for these but 40 is hardly exsessive. Some people don't even have the choice of less than that on machines.
I used to buy from there too, but noticed what you have, also, the 'padding'
goes perculiar, looks awful under a tighter top.
A woman was in one day complaining of the same thing, had the bra with her,
I was behind her in the queue..and that's what she was told...handwash.

I now buy from Primark. believe it or not they are ok.
I really do not have the time for handwash but put all delicate types inside a cotton bag and do a delicate or wool wash
Luckily, you have dropped upon the AB expert on women's underwear.

You should hand wash all bras.

Seriously, who has time to handwash all their bras?

I've just nipped into the loo at work and derobed so I could see the label on this one. (was in a rush this morning and picked and put on a crap one). Label says machine wash 40.
Sqad...whilst getting close in the shower??
Totally agree, handwash all bras, so easy to do in the bath or shower and shower gel is delicate enough for them.
chi-chi.......;-)

Really!!!

That's got me in an extra grump. I thought we lived in the age of convenience. And I don't trust my skills to wash them as well as they are in the machine.

Anywho, I am washing in line with the guide on the label so they shouldnt be doing it still.
If you are washing in accordance with the labels then return them.

I pay so much for mine, delicate washing is all I trust.
\\\\I pay so much for mine, delicate washing is all I trust.\\\

That is my sort of woman.

I don't bother buying decent stuff at the moment, I don't think the cat is that bothered by what undies I've got on around the house.

These ones are probably only about £18 but I'd expect them to last. Only a couple of months old but don't have receipts. Might try my luck on the weekend.
Evian..I have the solution...we all mail our undies to Sqad !!! howsabout it Sqad..think of the fun you will have assessing us all by our scimpies !!!!
