Scented Sachets - Christmas

Hi - I would like to make some scented sachets for christmas and would like suggestions on what I could use to make the smell. Would I just use ordinary ground cinnamon (i.e. from a supermarket)? I have used dried lavendar to fill sachets but would like to do some with a christmas theme. Thank you.

go to a health food store and buy sticks or pieces of cinnamon as it will be less messy. Cloves go beautifully with it and I would add some coarsely grated nutmeg. You can use orange peel dried in a slow oven as well.
