Men and kilts

I wore a dress and warm tights for the first time in a million years yesterday and my nether regions felt a bit chilly after so many years of trousers/jeans.
How do men in kilts manage? Must be freezing up there.

Reading about kilts and the idea of the verb 'wear', reminds me of an old joke...
Any Scotsman in a kilt who is asked by a young English woman, "What's worn under the kilt?" should always reply, "Therrre's naethin' worrrn underrr ma kilt, lassie; it's a' in perrrfect worrrkin orrrderrr!"
