Your jumpers/sweaters I have 2 or 3 really long jumpers more like jumper dresses really and if I fold them away when I go to put them on again they are creased yet if I hang them they have marks on the shoulders where the hanger has been

If the fabric is the type to crease then rather than fold them, roll them.

Hangers should never be used for knitted garments. Their own weight will pull them out of shape. If they're creased from folding, place them on an ironing board, cover with a tea-towel, and press them with a steam iron. It only takes a couple of minutes, and they'll look like they're new.

Fold like they do in the shops rather than from the middle, you can always put them in the airing cupboard flat, to get folds out, the night before wearing.
