Question about a bad dream I had last night
2 Answers
I had a dream last night (can't really remember much about it) which ended with some random I knew in the dream (but is no one I know in real life) throwing several dogs over a hill onto a main road and killing them. As this was happening in the dream, I couldn't bear to watch the dogs hit the road so I turned round each time right after they were thrown over the edge. I woke up in the middle of this incident feeling shocked, angry with the killer and relief that this was only a dream. I do remember the killer had been civilised throughout the dream but I knew he had a criminal past so when he flipped and suddenly killed the dogs, I wasn't surprised that he had committed a crime but was shocked by the nature of the crime.
I hate animal cruelty and have never had a dream about dogs being killed before so my question is, where did this come from? I have never had a pet but a family that use to look after me occassionally years ago as my parents were busy with work did have a few dogs while I was with them. I like dogs so got on well with all of them so I'm confused as to why I would suddenly have this type of dream.
Any responses would be appreciated.
