I guess it completely depends on what you would like from your mobile.  I.e. do you text often and not talk much or vice versa. I have had the same tarrif for a while (it's an O2 one and I really get on well with it) but I think if I were you i'd go to an independent phone retailer (car phone warehouse or something like that) and explain what you are looking for and how much you wish to spend and they should be able to find you something.  They may have a service online that can do the same if you can't get to one immediately!
