Amazon Grrrr

Of all the many, many deliveries that I have had from Amazon, guess which one they decide not stick in a brown Amazon box, my daughters Christmas prezzie, guess who opened the front door to the courier?

Oh no! Im unsure whether they have to stick in an Amazon box if already well packaged but even so, it has ruined the suprise for your daughter. At this time of year you would think that items would be properly packaged as they are likely to be PRESENTS!!!!

Tell your daughter she can't have it as punishment for opening your mail and send it to me :)

I use Amazon a lot and have always been reasonably happy but of late I've gone off them. More and more they use sellers a bit like ebay and the sellers' delivery dates nave gone into weeks without that being made clear at checkout time.

have just ordered a pressie for OH from them..I buy a lot off Amazon..he assumes it is for me or some other family member..does not show much interest in what the postman brings..usually it comes in brown envelopes !!lol

i am on door duty today.....i bought mr kicker an ipod for his b'day.....and someone has to sign for it. he's going to go mad about the amount of money i spent, but he deserves a good pressie. his b'day is the 20th Dec so always gets mediocre gifts....he's finished his MSc dissertation and is now doing his Phd application. he deserves a little something nice, i think x

It came direct from Amazon, I didn't think it'd be as early as it was as the tracking system said it left Kettering at 7.20am, it reached me at 8.40am, the driver must have had his foot to the floor. I dashed for the front door but she got there before me and she saw the present with a big picture of it in the front of the box. Good job she doesn't believe in Father Christmas anymore. She's quite upset as I told her I'd surprise her for Christmas as she didn't know what she wanted. Oh well, I'm going to send them a bollocky email I think.

Sorry, lol. It's a Yamaha keyboard, she's been doing really well at school in her music lessons, she's picked it up quickly so I thought I'd get her one for home. This morning after the hoohaa, she said she was glad she was getting one and didn't want to ask as she thought the would be too expensive, bless her.
