What do you do when an item you've bought-described as 'fabulous soft LEATHER boots' do not seem to be leather....but there are no labels,so no way to prove suspicions?

Do you have a local cobblers shop you could take them to? They will be able to tell at a glance

An update....I took the boots to a local repair shop-and they confirmed that they are leather. Glad I did,as I almost sent a polite email to the seller this morning suggesting they were not as described. Thanks all for your advice.
