What can I get for my S in L for her 77th birthday next month? bareing in mind she doesn't want for much coz if she does want something she'll just go & buy it. Also she was inundated at christmas with woolies of all sorts, perfumes toileteries ect. I'm spending about £25. Shall I get her a voucher?
She loves 'Talking Books' shall I get her yet another?

How about a talking clock - preferably one which updates automatically by radio control :

if the lady has not got a talking watch then that would be ideal, my hubby is now totally blind, dont know where you are but the RNIB showroom in Judd Street almost opposite St Pancras Station has at least a dozen different models. When we do our three monthly trip to Moorfields we go on to Judd St afterwards [disabled parking right outside] and I make a note of the new audio books and then take the list to our local library and they are very helpful in getting these books and its a free service.Pub opposite RNIB does good meals too.
