can anyone help me decide how to dress for my shape, I am fairly top heavy biggish bust, thick waist, I have bit of a belly I have slim arms and legs I dont have much of a backside and narrow hips, so I find buying trousers a nightmare if I get them to feel comfy on the waist they are to big on bum and hips but then if I get them to fit nicely on bum and hips they are to tight around the waist I really hate shopping for clothes because I just dont know what will suit me. can anyone please help tia

IMHO opinion big busts look better with lower cut neck lines, collar high necklines make you bust look larger and matronly.
Wrap around dresses or tunics with v/scooped necklines with a vest/camisole top underneath would flatter you. Skater dresses are popular at the moment and would suit your body shape too.
Slender arms can be accentuated and used to detract from the less flattering aspects of your figure by wearing three quarter length sleeves.
A close fitting t-shirt worn under a tunic/dress over leggings/jeggings would accentuate your slender legs and arms and hide your thicker areas.

I have the same problem for work trousers, jeans are fine since they stretch, I've started wearing dresses and pencil skirts for work, loads around at the moment made with pointe fabric which stretches and is comfy, peplum dresses and tops help hide a bit of a belly. Tunic tops with skinny jeans and boyfriend cardi works for me as we'll. I used to hide under big baggy clothes till I finally worked out it made me look even bigger. Do you have a friend that you could shop with who would be honest?
