Where Can I Selling Large Quantity Of Chairs

Hi,

Anyone have any ideas where we would go for this please?

The place I work has about 150 padded folding chairs. Most have seen better days (but could be useful to a hard up organisation or one that can referb them).

However we don't know who we would sell them to or even if it is worth trying to do. They are sturdy enough just not pretty looking any more.

You can buy them new from about £22 +vat so even if we got a few pound each it would help with the cost of us getting new ones.

Perhaps there is a local group/venue/charity that could make use of them.

There's also ebay, ebid, gumtree or if there is a local freecycle/freegle (google it)

I'd take them to the local auction. They'd go as a single lot and would raise some cash that way.

Have you got a local salvage yard? That chap on the salvage programme often buys job lots of chairs. Or do you have a local Buy/Sell/Swap page on Facebook, as we do here?

Sell them to a lion tamer

Take them to a localauction and then give the money raised to a charity of your choice. That way two people(s) would benefit,the person buying them and also the charity of your choice. Remember, one person's rubbish is a gift to someone else.
