I've got a job interview later and it's the first one I've had in years!
It's actually for my current companies main customer and I know I've met the guy interviewing me before, unfortunately only at our companies Xmas parties in which I've always been absolutely plastered and probably (definitely) made a fool of myself. I can't even remember what he looks like.
I get the feeling (of course I could be wrong) that the job is basically mine and the interview is just a formality so I've no idea what sort of thing he is going to ask me.
And I'm worried my choice of outfit is either not smart enough or too smart.
I'm going straight from work, which is very much a jeans & t-shirt place so I look way smarter than I normally do in here today. I've got a back up top in the car in case I change my mind later.
It's a job they are creating Murray so I think even they are not entirely sure yet. Lol. But it's mainly taking over paperwork side of things that the engineers/designers currently do and basically being a PA I guess.
I went to a presentation last week where the presenter was wearing jeans and a shirt, but with a really neat jacket on top. The top half is what most people look at, after all. Good luck anyway - if you want it, I hope you get it!
if you get the feeling the jobs already yours im guessing you have spoken to him or someone outside xmas parties and stuff? i wouldnt be too worried, if hes only seen you plastered and still you think the job is nailed on then whatever you do say or wear would be an improvement lol ;)
Lol Pixi, that's a good point. He's seen me at my worst and he still wants to talk to me.
I've spoken to the guy from the company who we deal with mainly. He was meant to be in the interview but can't be there now and he's quite a chatter so I was banking on him. Lol
