Has it got a 'washing label' on it ?
Try pre treating first, or soaking in cold water - once a blood stain is 'set' it is difficult to remove

We wash ours in the washing machine and its fine, but do check the label just in case.

Do not put it in the tumble drier though as this melts them!

Thanks guys I'll put it in the wash, I did put Vanish on it in paste form but there's still a slight stain, just want to b careful because its my landlords

I was wearing a material pair of mules last summer out and about and somehow cut my foot.  Well, they turned red with blood and I thought they were ruined and I'd have to throw them away.  The big burly bouncer said to me 'soak in a water with lots of salt and it'll come out'.  I did a good soak and they were as good as new so you could try that.

I have a matress protector (it's material to keep bed bugs out) and wash it regularly.
