Canary I'm with you. Why do the guests need a 'favour'? Either sweets (the sugared almonds are traditional but you could do something more modern) or nothing at all. A couple of years ago Mr Spudqueen and I had the pleasure of attending 6 weddings in one year. Each couple must have spent hours finalising the details of their wedding but to be honest by the end they were all very samey. Each one had chairs covered in fabric (with bows at the back) in colours which matched the bridesmaids dresses/mens cravats/flowers. Each table was named (all with a theme), there were balloons on all the tables along with confetti. The wedding planners are all just working to a set of tick boxes. Do what makes you happy (and what you can afford), not what the planner wants you to conform to!
All the very best to both of you by the way!

Could you maybe gave out the phone numbers of the bridesmaids?????? Lol
Sorry
Miniatures are popular nowadays as are shot glasses .i also know someone who had Xmas type crackers made with pics and confetti and thank you notes ect
But the new thing now seems to be sweets
You can actually get a sweet cart to attend
So why not get sour sweets made as favours then they can have some macho contest and see who ends up the toughest ???? Lol
