I've been to Tesco today. WHY can't people stand upright when pushing the trolley instead of lolling over it as if there legs can't hold them up, bum in the air? Strangely it doesn't seem to be the elderly that do it and they oafs are fit enough to lift the packs of beer and put them in the trolley.

It irritates me beyond reason, as does children old enough to walk sitting in the trolley - not the child seat, in the trolley itself.

If it weren't for the out of date bargains I snap up, I'd do all my shopping online and avoid the crowds.

These annoy you? Why? How on earth does it affect how you do your own shopping?
Because, HC, you are yet to ascend to the position of Minister of Walking Properly Please.

I cant honestly say I have ever stood and looked at other people when I have gone shopping, personally it wouldnt bother me what they were up to.
Shouldn't that be ascend not ascent?
Shopping alone annoys me. I hate it.
Not especially noticed this, but in the bank or post office, or a shop, if a counter is available - people will lean on it while they conduct their business.
Ed you changed that why can't I change my posts?
It is, isn't it?
because thats the position for trolley skating....
Im always baffled why some people get irritated by the littlest things when out and about that doesn't impact on whatever they're doing in the slightest.
Maybe they hate shopping and need all the support they can get HC?

I would find something else to worry about!

I think it annoys me in part because they take up so much more room than if they were standing. And they shuffle. It's like being amongst zombies.

AND by them bending over I usually get an unwanted eyeful of builders bum or whale tail. Horrid.
has no-one here trolley skated????
hc.......I agree entirely.........yes, it irritates me also, but not "beyond reason."

Mrs sqad is irritated by people who leave their trolley in the middle of the aisle, obstructing the flow and then wander off to find some other item.

I have never come across a woman breast feeding a baby in the aisle as yet ;-)....it will happen.

Trolley skating! I didn't realise it's a sport.

Is it in the same league as ramming the trolley in the back of my legs? Or is that a martial art?
Question Author
Dang it, boo. You've outed me.
go on hc4361, scoot down the aisle with your trolley, you know you want to
Make sure you never go to Asda's, they have trolley-rage there. And it weren't my fault!
Question Author
Oh, god, no. I did go in to Asda once. That was enough
