Why is ebay quiet at the moment?

Is quiet because of all those scams, they have tried to assure buyers with the �500 claims policy( I never seen that before, I think its new).

Have you noticed there are alot of counterfeit designer goods on Ebay? Isnt this illegal? Why dont Ebay do something about this? They just dont care...!!?? Some seller would state these as replicas and other claim the goods as genuine, buyers are not protected. Genuine sellers gets problems too, of course. Ebay should credit/address check all their buyers and sellers

I have giving up the idea to bid on ebay because how can we trust individual sellers, they have no trading addresses, how cant we get in touch with them if there are problems and they dont reply.

There are too many loopholes in the Ebay system.

It is also holiday season, my friend has a ebay shop and it is always quiet this time of year in the UK. However it is good for bidders.

I must agree with jean88.  I wouldn't buy off ebay...purely due to the fact that I see my friends messing people around on there, for e.g. not sending their goods for weeks and sending the clothes un-washed.  My friend (ex friend) even stole off me and sold my things on ebay. You just can't trust some people.
