New Kitchen
17 Answers
Am awaiting two guys re new or planning of new kitchen. Whilst I have ordered silver appliances ie dish washer and fridge freezer - would like to brighten it up ie a little more colourful.
Went to usual sites to look for perhaps dark green microwave - none to be seen - would like green toaster and kettle. You know what I mean. Can't find anything to suit - it is early days. Apple Green seems to be latest but I don't think I like apple.

it's usually the other way round, connemmara, they can put much more online than they can put in shops.

The trouble with buying small appliances in the "in" colour is that they won't all give up the ghost at the same time. So your green toaster (supposing that you actually find it) will need replacing before the microwave and/or the kettle and the green will no longer exist so you'll be left with a hotch-potch. Better to stick to white appliances and add a splash of colour with accessories e.g. washing up bowl, tea-towels etc.
Well took a run up to Currys - I have now my eye on a silver microwave with a matching kettle - they look really lovely. Don't forget my dishwasher and fridge freezer are all silver/stainless steel.
Also one of my venetian blinds is broken in living room so ordered 2 new ones (have two windows) - then a I saw a lovely washable blind - beautiful with little diamonds along bottom for the new kitchen. "blind" man is coming out to measure up on Friday. I sure am going to be busy within the next few days. I had to remember so much I am writing it down. LOL
