Boardwalk Empire

Has anybody watched this and can recommend it as worth watching ? I think it's on Sky Atlantic which we can't get on our Virgin package so considering buying the boxed sets but would like to know if it's worth it before parting with my hard earned .

We've watched from the beginning and enjoyed it. Not for the easily offended or squeamish from time to time though.

If you loved the Soprano's then you will love Boardwalk Empire its like a period version of the Soprano's.

Go for it - you will be hooked.

Mr Tilly has watched them all and he says it is brilliant. He's waiting for the start of series 4 tonight.

I'm a huge fan of these sort of things .Loved The Wire and am hooked on Law and Order and the spin offs ....Amazon here I come :)
