Hello. Can someone please help my poor confused brain and explain these two:

13ac Briefly run across street musicians (9)
I have ORGANISTS but just can't work out why. If it's RAN across GIST, S for street, then where does the O come from?

20dn Rim of bell cast in iron (6)
I have BRONZE but again I'm not entirely happy with the parsing. I'm not sure why the clue isn't simply 'Bell cast in iron' unless it's for the sake of misdirection, ie. anagram of BELL in FE. What's the significance of having rim in the clue? Or it's something else and not BRONZE!

Thank you.

Oh I can't believe it. 20dn is FRINGE. I've sat looking at that clue for hours! I give up and it comes to me. I'm still stuck on 13ac though...
