Does anyone know who makes Jeep watches? I have had one for years and the bracelet is coming loose, the little screws are sticking out and catching on everything. My local jeweller can't fix it, so I thought I could contact the makers, but can't seem to find an address for them.
Not only American...but not making them any more.
It really can't be that difficult to find a decent jeweller who can fix it...even some markets have a watch repair stall.
Certain links on an ordinary expansion bracelet will have arrows on the wrist side of them; this means that they are removable and have pins in them adjoining them to another link. You can tap them down sharply with something appropriate eg. a small hammer, and then see if they remain in place. However, if they really are screws and not split pins, take the bracelet to a watch maker. By the way, tap them into place from the pointed end of the arrow.
Gingejbee, I was wondering that also, but I just thought I'd add that information about a simple band. In general, watchmakers are much more adept at repairing, and some bands are quite complicated. I don't know what type of band is used on a "Jeep" watch.
