Ladies Coat For A Very Cold Night

I need a warm coat for an outdoor event with up to minus 6 temperatures and lots of standing around. Don't want to spend a fortune ..... and don't want to look like I have been inflated! TIA

I know you don`t want to look like the Michelin Man but those padded coats really do keep out the cold. There are quite a few in TK Maxx. BHS have some that are a bit cheaper.

Charity shops for sheepskin coat - nowt warmer/windproof/waterproof; I'll race you there ;)

I'd want it as long as possible - I've never seen a long sheepskin in our local charity shops.

Just a tip....never wear more than three layers as, instead of trapping your body heat they will start to trap in the cold air.

Lots of mens big & comfy Boxy, ring around as theyre in stock for recycling due to little demand

Thanks everyone - I have one of those long coats from riding years ago - not warm enough :-(

I wore thermal long sleeve vest ( couple of pound in primark as would never be worn again) jumper then my walking coat which has a zip in fleece and windproof outer. Was standing around for several hours in -5 one new year in Edinburgh and was plenty warm ennough.

Go for the online shopping to buy warm coats. I think the puma, levi's and other brand stores are also providing online shopping facility to their customers with fast shopping service at reasonable prices.
