Santa has brought a Kindle Fire AND a a Kindle Paperwhite for us this Christmas.
The Fire has a mains/USB charger. The Paperwhite has to be charged from a USB port.
Can I use the charger on the Paperwhite? The charger does not include or exclude this. The sockets look the same.
No big deal, just a bit easier to charge off the mains.

You might also be interested in this; only £748, you can charge both your Kindles at the same time and you don't even fill-up a mains socket as there is also a mains outlet on it. It's what we use most of the time....

Yes - we have both and use just the one charger.

They will charge from anything that has a USB socket eg, a computer but the Kindle charger is quicker.
As above !!

A tip for you dipee - turn off wifi on the Fire when you don't need it, otherwise the battery runs down faster than you would expect it to. I thought we had a battery problem with ours but Amazon suggested we tried that and it worked. Even so, you will find the Paperwhite battery lasts a lot longer than the Fire.
Sorry, £7.48.
Bhg..that looks handy !
