No, not me......I called in at the gift shop to pick up a helium filled balloon.
Nice shop....not huge but packed with lovely and fragile gifts and goodies.

The lady filled the balloon...tied on the ribbons and the weight which she put on the floor while she went to fetch a large bag.

That was when her little doggie came from the back room....and took hold of the dangly ribbons.

I have never had a dog but I now know that a helium balloon tied to a ribbon will give a dog an enormous amount of exercise....they love it!

They will shake their little heads....charge around at great speed....take fright at being followed by a purple balloon....spin on a sixpence and attack the balloon.

Dogs can move much faster than the two getting on a bit ladies chasing the dog and the balloon........which did survive with just a few teeth marks and an awful lot of dribble....☺

I would have paid to watch that. Are you sure you had nothing to do with it?
LOL, sounds very entertaining, gness. surprised that the shop wasn't wrecked though.
i might as well be the one to ask, what were you going to do with the balloon?

Carry on birthdays....I could call it.

I have a group of eight friends. Five years ago today we celebrated the first of our 60th birthdays....that was the day I got my hand stuck down the side of the train seat rescuing the cap from a wine bottle.....

Today we started on our 65th birthdays so the dog and the balloon and getting my stiletto stuck in the heating grill under my seat kept up the tradition....☺
Did the owner reduce the balloon for you seeing as it chewed on?
Guinness- an excellent lubricant for removing stilettos.
Stiletto, gness !, why were you playing with knives ;-)
Tony and DTC, mind your toes!
Question Author
Chewed ribbons....no big deal.

Oi, I told you not to wave it about in public !.
well heeled was he, the present giver that is?
Down at !, DT.
Question Author

Question Author
