Somewhere to store photographs

Is there something I can buy that stores photographs? I'm fed up with having a load of shoes boxes in my cupboard full up of photos. I dont really want to put them all in albums becuase that would take ages and dont want to mix all the photos up. Was just wondering if there was something a bit better that people put their photos in?

I don’t know of a specific photo storage system that wouldn’t involve the same effort as putting all your photos into albums – I guess that’s one of the reasons why digital photography has taken off so well.  There’s a website called www.archivalmethods.com which might give you some idea of what’s available or what you could do.
