I saw a nice swim suit in Matalan but they didn't have my size so the assistant gave me a 10% discount to be used on line.

Went home and found it on their web site and clicked on it and it cam up unfound... Went back to the previous page and it wasn't there any more???

I have been back several times since and it does not come up on a search at all now.

Does anyone know what has pappened?
Thanks

Yes. Not the web site dissapearing but the swim suit :)
Apart from giving us the item number so we can look for it, I'm not sure how you feel we can help, cassa. Maybe t=you need to ring them again or email them or maybe it's just out of stock online too.

Good point FF :)

I don't know the number as it dissapeared :(

I just wondered why it would not be there now when it was before.

It was a black swim suit with white hearts and a little skirt (to cover up my fat bum)
Most likely because it became out of stock. I expect a lot of people did online shopping over Easter.
what Prudie says - the usual reason things vanish is that somebody's just bought the last one

Don't they get new stock in then?
They might or might not, usually new stock takes over unless it's a staple product. You could try going back/ringing the store to see if there's an easy way they can contact other branches to see if they have what you want in stock.
it's possible it was the last swimsuit in last year's styling and will be replaced by this year's model - it's about time for this year's swimsuits, I would have thought.
Matalan are notoriously poor at aquiring replacement stock. They appear to make single bulk buys in fixed quantities across a size range. Once the more popular sizes are sold, there's none of these sizes available. They seem to be unwilling to ask manufacturers for additional stock. The result is that my local Matalan never has jeans or shirts in my size.
Maybe they just buy up job lots of surplus stock from a range of suppliers, so when it's gone it's gone
