Why are nearly all mens trousers and shirts "slim fit" these days? I'm not fat but none of this stuff fits me, especially shirts, being 46" chest. A lot of stuff only goes up to XL and measures 44". Its designed for late teenage and early 20's men. Is this new company policy or a government plot to get us all eating less. : )

Brilliant. Cheers Ratty2E. Found exactly what I was looking for!
Can't agree. Most regular jeans, for example, have 18" leg bottoms. I prefer 16", but they're few and far between on the High Street. And, as you say, many retailers are aiming at the teenager market, so there's not much sense in them stocking shirts with an over 44" chest size. You need to visit the likes of Matalan for up to XXXL sizes.
