I'm chilling in the garden with the crossword and a glass of something chilled.

My neighbours are having lunch; placemats, cutlery, napkins.....the works. This is entirely normal for them.

I don't eat breakfast, on the odd occasion have lunch but then will probably just nibble in the evening, mostly I have one meal a day and it is in the evening.

Do you or people you know have a proper plated lunch, plus breakfast and dinner/supper as a matter of course?

Nope.

Cornish pastie here, Adams Ale as to the drink, it's too early for wine (well not really) and on Saturday, I tend to go dry, if not going out.

Pastie and a pint sounds glorious. I've been craving a pastie for some considerable time and have yet to be brave enough to buy one the ones local to me have mince in them......bleurghhhh!
I don`t do lunch. I have late breakfast and dinner. I went out here today for lunch though http://www.weirhotel.co.uk/ And now I`m wrecked - too full up to do anything else
the mind shudders, Eccles. Dorset pasties use mince....

topside or chuck should be the meat of choice.
I had a small bowl of cereal with blueberries at 9am. At lunchtime on a hot day like today, I' normally have a salad, but we were at the coast this morning so we had a couple of poached eggs each in a cafe.

We'll have salad this evening.

No doubt your neighbours will be doing a full roast tomorrow come rain or shine!
I usually cook either late breakfast or lunch at the weekends and dinner if we fancy it later.

237, I know The Weir it is a regular haunt when I venture to Walton to visit friends!

Maydup, I think they will almost certainly be having a roast tomorrow.....13.00 sharp!

Today I will graze, entirely dependent on my appetite and the temperature.....
....followed by Sticky Toffee pudding and custard.

No! If we have a cooked breakfast (rarely) then we won't eat again until dinnertime. Normally we have an on the hoof breakfast, whatever comes to mind, then a snack on a plate at lunchtime, then a meal on a plate with cutlery in the evening. We're quite relaxed.
