I have just finished doing the ironing,Ok i don't mind ironing but when I pick up those *** fitted sheets I despair. How do you iron yours,or maybe your sensible and don't use fitted sheets
I have got tencel ones from M and S which are luxuriously silky and non iron, If yours need ironing, I understand that the easiest way is to put them on the mattress then iron.
agree with Tilly. After half an hour's sleep they've acquired new creases anyway. Pull them straight again when you get up.
Woofgang's advice is sound but... imagine if photos of me running round the room ironing the bed went on the cloud and then someone hacked them. The humiliation!
I know what you mean,I have three that I have to iron...tomorrow is ironing day...I HATE it!!!
I get someone to help me fold the fitted sheets by taking them by the corner,(where the stitching ending)...then make sure that the "box" edgings are facing the middle of the sheet, then fold in half, keeping it taut and then fold again, whichever way you prefer.
Easy to iron then.
Ever since working for my BMA years ago and finding I had no time and something had to give, I gave up ironing. The bed doesn't mind, and the clothes are still wearable. Doesn't please my woman though. And it would be nice to have ironed stuff, but it simply isn't necessary and life is too short for me to have taken it back up again when I was no longer studying.
