sorry can't stop to chat but can I leave a question here for a while and drop back in an hour or so please ? Does anyone here know owt about magic lantern glass slides, specifically, can they be transferred to any other form of photographic media? Digital or any other? TY, BRB.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.@DJHawkes.........Hi Dotty, I feel sure there is a way. Magic lanterns I know about because going back, some 60 years, I actually used one as my first Photographic Enlarger for 35mm film negatives.
It is my opinion that, if the glass slide is 'back-lit' from a lamp or window, a photograph of it can be taken with a digital camera and then transferred into a computer; from which it could be printed or 'burned' onto a DVD. Also I am thinking that the image from the slide could be scanned onto a computer/laptop's hard-drive.
At the moment I have to leave AB to do a quick 'flick-over' of car to present it in a reasonably looking condition for Servicing & MOT tomorrow morning. Later on today I shall do an Internet Search to see if there is anything on the Web which might help you.
