Campaign To Ban Glitter

If one more person sends me a Christmas card with glitter on I'm going to get a super-soaker and fill it with glitter and fire it through their flippin' letterbox.

I've just opened three glitter covered cards and I now look like a Christmas tree........and no doubt in July I'll still be finding flecks of the stuff dotted around my person and home.

Retro, I loved them too as a child. I loved making them. They were fine when the were flat but when they were made to stand upright... OMG, it was like snow falling everywhere and got everywhere!

As Grandma to young ones who love crafting,the house is awash with glitter,glue,sequins and beads the year round - you get used to it.

Perhaps it should be a campaign for better glue to ensure the glitter stays put, a fair compromise?
